SYNTHETIKA Branding & Advertising Campaign

VISUAL SYNTH

In 2018 we collaborated with artist Fito Conesa to create the visual campaign for Synthetika, a music festival celebrating synth music. Using the intial draft visual created by Fito as the diving board we ‘synthesized’ a provocative visual campaign while it distinctly Mahou (the event sponsor).​​​​​​​

MAIN CONCEPT
NOTES TO A FUTUR PAST

The festival aimed at celebrating and revindicating the pioneers and the promise of the synthesizer movement. We carried that idea into the visual by mixing the past, present and unfulfilled future.

We used public domain paintings, added a touch of vaporwave and contemporary design.

The main visual motif of hollowed out/void faces
was used to pay homage both to the unsung heroines of the synth movement and the musical paradigm shift, that never really happened.

Following the visual theme, we created a video representing all the artists that were to perform at the event. Each artist is represented by a different and personalised image.​​​​​​​
